Check out my Ultimate Biplane 3D! It took me a day and a half, on and off, putting this puppy together, and I am stoked to go try to fly her tomorrow. So hopefully I won't be posting any pictures of this plane in bits and pieces, as I have bad luck in this area ;) [
EDIT - I never should have said this... I'm soothsaying]
But... since I bought
Realflight R/C Flight Simulator∞, I have put in a great deal of practice time, and I think I'm ready for a cool plane like this one.
This puppy carves the sky in the sim - and it's said to be very accurate... so we'll see. It's an electric model - I think I'll enjoy that a lot more - no mess of gas and fuel to worry about - and no PITA starting procedure. Just turn it on and go!
Ultimate I:
Had an argument with a tree...
Ultimate II:
Just didn't like to fly...
The Ultimate II, however, will be rebuilt, and thanks to an organ donation from the Ultimate I, it only needs the low-wings to fly again. Everything else can be salvaged.
Ultimate III:
The frankenstein of the plane world... parts from three different aircraft (and one small balsa donation from the FuntanaX (RIP)

Umm. OK so I messed up one thing - and I'm really pissed about it.
Notice that the rear elevator is on UPSIDE DOWN. LOL.
