Resurrections
This symbol denotes a resurrection. This involves the partial or complete rebuild of a previously destroyed RC aircraft.
And, no I don't have rules as to what justifies a "rebuild" vs. a "replacement. Technically, I just bought a new airframe for my Spitfire...and one could call that a "replacement". But the guts, electronics, motor, and
essence of the plane went in as well. So I justify it as
rebuilt. Close enough, imho.

RcUltimateBipe - Yet another complete nasal reconstruction. I think this plane is 80% glue now, and it is flying worse every time I rebuild it...
RcExtra260 - My most impressive rebuild yet. From kindling to a working plane.
RcBrio10 - I sheared off the left wing - luckily not a ton of damage internally, so was able to repair
RcUltimateBipe - Complete nasal reconstruction. Motor mount was kindling, and is now mostly glue.
RcPZSpitFire - an amazing orthopedic feat of Gorilla-glue and tape.
RcPZSpitFire - a replacement spine - for six bucks
RcPZSpitFire - a replacement entire airframe
RcUltimateBipe - a combination of the leftover bits from
Ultimate Bipes I and
II, plus a new low wing set
When you are rebuilding a broken plane... you have to be resourceful and tricky when it comes to making broken parts fit back together. Since I had sheared off the tabs on the wing supports on my
Ultimate Bipe, I innovated a new peg-leg style of replacement tab! These, CA glued into the support, and then submerged in the Epoxy-filled tab insert, and I'll bet they are stronger than the original!
:)

May they continue to fly, and not wind up dead
