In the Summer of 2007 I was trying to figure out how to get video while flying my planes.  The problem there is that my wife has no interest in my pastime, and my kids are unreliable with the camera.  Witness the video below!

I took about five minutes of wayward video, and put it on fast-forward, editing the audio to just the audible bits.  Pretty funny for me (and maybe JUST me), that he shot more dirt and trees than my airplane, and runs around being three the whole time!

Next time I'll use a tripod ;)

My Big-n-Slow Yellowbird.  This is my big slow puppy dog.  8-foot wingspan on it, but nothing acrobatic!  Can haul almost 10 pounds of cargo if I wanted to.  I hope to load up some video from onboard, as I plan to strap a camera in it, and get fancy with the avionics.

Maiden Flight:

Third Test Flight:  It's flown quite a few times now.  Never runs out of gas - have flown for a half hour and didn't even dent the giant tank I put in her.

Maiden flight of my Seagull Ultimate Biplane 46.  This is an ARF that I had to tweak a bit, and it is a solid plane, yet to be destroyed ( as of this writing ).  I have about 12 flights on it currently, and it uses the engine from the Extra300S, (Saito .82 4-stroke)

Not the best vid in the world, but she's fun to fly!  I hope to get some more of it in action.

First time firing up my Extra 300S that I built for months and destroyed in 2 flights.  I didn't get to film the actual destruction, but here are the 2 vids I had of the plane itself, pre-destruction.  :(

That flight didn't kill her.  Little damage easily repaired.  The next one cartwheeled on takeoff, resulting in a total loss.  *sniff*

I finally got the solid hang of R/C flight again with my first Mini FuntanaX.  Such an excellent plane that I destroyed the day after this video.  (Forgot to raise my antenna)
